Do you part—donate vehicles

Want to show your concern for the less fortunate? Perhaps you’d like to be counted as one of the few kind-hearted individuals who donate vehicles to benefit abandoned children. It’s no joke—millions of children are left to fend for themselves each and every day. There’s not much food, clothing or shelter going around to help each child, but with your donation, you can make a very big difference to some of these children’s lives. You’ll be able to indirectly give them warm meals, clothes and a roof above their heads with a single vehicle donation.

Join donate a car florida and be part of the few who are truly considered generous and kind-hearted. There are millions of children out there who don’t have a place to stay, have no food to put in their mouths and no clothes to keep them warm. You can help, starting by donating your old car for their benefit. There’s no better way to show your concern by giving a piece of your beloved property.

Be part of a car donation program and show just how much  you feel about children not receiving their most basic needs—food, warmth, shelter, clothing. The mere act of giving up something you’ve held dearly over the years to be able to help children in need is truly noble, and will not go unnoticed. The car you’re donating does not need to be in good running condition. As long as it’s still got parts that can be sold, it’s good enough to help the needy.

Number of Charity Stores Increase in Otago

Because of the opening of new charity stores in Oamaru and Dunedin (Charity Barns), the number of charity foundations in Otago increased. In Dunedin, one can find almost 6 charity stores which are open to collect donations like books, furniture, electronics, clothes and money to give to the people who need it most. If this is not enough, there will be more to open soon, as stated by the charity operators, and they expect the same support and success the other charity stores had.

One of the major charitable institutions in the state Charity Barns is a Christian, non-profit and Christchurch charity which is operated by different volunteers. The organization receives all kinds of donations from all over the state and gives almost half of what they have collected and received to the people who need those most, while the remainder of the said donations is sold for the organization to cover operating expenses and rental.

One of the lucky beneficiaries of the funds provided by Charity Barns is Mary’s Meals, which is an international group providing everyday meals in schools in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa. The group said that they have fed over 450,000 children in their campaign.

Because of the goodwill in Otago, the president of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society welcomed Charity Barns in the state, with the belief that it will get a lot of support from the people. The president also stated that it is better to do something good while they still have the time.

The First Steps to Putting Up Your Own Charitable Institution

It’s a little known truth that anything that’s in excess, is not yours to keep. Therefore, if you had too many earthly possessions (or could afford getting anything you wish for, anytime), it’s about time you thought about giving what you don’t need, to folks who are less fortunate. One can easily participate in any of the several institutions with charitable endeavors, but why do that, when you can start your own? Here are some points to think about when starting your own charity:

  1. Know your mission. Who would you want to reach out to? There are several communities that need charitable endeavors, but which one would you like to be an advocate of? For instance, would you like a charity for children? Single moms? Handicapped individuals? Unschooled kids? War-torn communities? This will help you put more focus on your purpose and later on allow you to choose charitable partners who have similar advocacies.
  2. Be honest about your financial conditions. Although you are a charity, you must know the extent at which you can support your mission. How much money do you have on hand, and what are you going to spend it on? Lack of planning in any charitable endeavor leads to disorganized missions, so in effect, you will have not helped anyone and will have wasted yoru resources.
  3. Form your management. Although it’s an individual thought, be honest about your need for people to manage the institution. You will need a chairman and board members who will all collaborate in decision-making. Also, choose your employees carefully, making sure that their purpose in life is synonymous to yours, and that’s to help others, and not particularly yourselves.
  4. Establish legality. This ensures that the money that goes into the foundation, will be used for the right purposes. You may even have to seek permission to operate an NGO (non-government organization), and obtain a Federal Employer Identification number for tax concerns. Before everything gets started, be sure you’ve organized the legalities beforehand.

The origin of Osho meditations

The osho meditations are not an ancient practice. They are, in fact, a type of meditation developed within the last 50 fifty years. The man responsible for this is Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh or Osho as he was known in later life.

Born in 1931, Rajneesh was not someone who sprung to fame in some tumultuous event. Instead, it was his knowledge that made him shine. His thirst for knowledge was unquenchable and from a very early age onwards, Rajneesh craved learning. By the time the Sixties drew near, Rajneesh had spent a lot of time dissecting religions and distilling the knowledge he gained. From this knowledge, he developed his own dynamic style of meditation which later became known as Osho meditation.

When he reached enlightenment he was named Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. Bhagwan Rajneesh spent the rest of his life passing on the knowledge he had gained to his disciples. The daily discourses that he had every morning with his disciples are now published as osho discourses. The discourses and tantra books are all available online, if you desire to purchase them.

After spending several years travelling the world  and spreading his teachings, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh returned home to India in 1986. He spent the rest of his life in his home country and it was during this period that he changed his name to Osho. Plagued by illness, Osho finally succumbed and passed away in 1990. His teachings still live on in the print form and audio visual forms as well as through his disciples.

Osho dynamic meditation

The osho dynamic meditation was developed for the busy man and woman. The man responsible for the creation of this mediation method is called Osho.

Osho was born as Rajneesh Chandra Mohan Jain in Madhya Pradesh in India. He was a voracious reader and seeker of knowledge. It was in this quest for knowledge and enlightenment that he decided to improve upon the millennia old methods of meditation. He pointed out that the old methods centered on a seated position which was not conducive or relative to the busy lifestyle people had developed. So, he came up with new methods of meditation which were dynamic in nature, but achieved the desired end result.

Throughout his enlightenment period and the years that passed after that, Rajneesh spread his teaching within India and in other countries. He had disciples wherever he went and even now, after his death, they are growing in numbers. The disciples, known as osho sannyassins, have to take up the osho sannyas and live their life according to disciplines preached by their leader Osho.

The name Osho only came about towards the end of Bhagwan Rajneesh’s life. After travelling the world he decided to come back to his ashram in Pune, perhaps because he knew it was time to come home. He kept on teaching till the day he passed away and those teachings live on in the form of osho books and osho mp3 audio files.
